Tick Tock… Tick Tock..

Why won’t you wait for me… Why won’t you wait until I’m done?

I cannot pause ..I do not stop … And so I wait for none.

Oh please just for once ? ‘Cuz if only you would – possibilities would cease to stop.

It is not I .. It is not my call… And so not once nor twice… I simply wait for none.

Not you – Then to whom should I plead? .. To whom should I unleash my plight ?

My dear child , you created me, then why with my existence do you fight ?

What.. How… I do not understand .. How can I be the reason you are when I’ve always known you to be ?

Dear child I was never around – until you wanted to take over , so you conceived me.

I maybe a restraint but I am only a creative fragment of your mind..

The world does not move at my will or pace – yet to my inessentiality, it is blind.

I neither hold your good chances nor am I the reason for your fate,

It is all in your psyche dear child, I wish you realization before it is too late!

So how do I take over again ? How do I undo what’s done ?

I cannot pause… I do not stop… And so I wait for none.

  1. Thank you so much for that 🙂 – it was a burried thought for long until I couldn’t hold it in any longer so penned it down. Glad you liked it. It is a huge compliment when it comes from an English/arts teacher 😀 😀 !!

    1. I think the “time you’re referring to , sets upon us everyday – Some of us turn deaf ears..some of us are too occupied with other sounds…while some of us are crying out loud and not listening enough..- probably a handful hear the sound of their heart beat everyday… the very same handful who acknowledge “time” as an illusion.
