About

“Nasbeen aka Beanz (simply because her name is eternally mispronounced!) is an obsessive combination of a bibliophile and logophile put together!

Every day, she narrowly escapes the resilient attempts of a stereotypical world desperately trying to dumb her brain down to the size of nothing; and miraculously finds unseen weapons to fiercely combat the consistent ‘can’t do’s’ and ‘will not happen’s’ that life humourously throws at her.

She also eagerly yet patiently awaits her letter from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, when she is not otherwise putting together the building blocks of an online business and being a full-time mommy to her unbelievably adorable three children (inclusive of the husband!)

An Applied Psychologist & PhD. candidate by profession; a full-time wife/mother  & homeschooler by day; a dreamer, burglar, explorer, ninja warrior (an endless list that is!) by night – she is as easy to comprehend as she is  not!

She actively blogs to indulge the many alter egos that sneakily reside within her such as a philosophile, an artist, a poet, a photographer, a passionate cook – and the many others that she is in the pursuit of discovering.

Her favourite line (well, one of the many!) – ” I rise every morning torn between the desire to improve the world and the desire to enjoy the world. This makes planning my day difficult. E.B. White.””

This is what appears on my Gravatar profile and incidentally manages to encapsulate precisely what one should expect to encounter in my blog!!

If you must know more – I write because I breathe, I breathe because I write. Hence, my blog is entitled just the same: Breathing Now. Writing Now.

As I have quoted in one of my early blogs, for those looking for a Space To Write and seeking the best way to tell their stories –

“Write your story as it needs to be written. Write it honestly, and tell it as best as you can. I’m not sure that there are any other rules. Not the ones that matter! “Neil Gaiman.
